Husky Dog Pound Competition-

Six students from our Business Management and Entrepreneurship program competed on March 28 in the HDP competition at Bloomsburg University. In teams of 2, they each pitched their own business idea to university professors and business leaders. This Shark Tank style competition drew in 175 teams from 80 school districts. Congratulations to seniors Dylan and Allison who placed 12th overall and won $200! Dylan and Allie (pictured in the middle) developed a business concept called Evolution Juice, a combination in-store and web-based subscription service for fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Abriella and Alex (pictured on the left) developed a concept called Retreat Voyage- a one stop, hassle free luxury travel agency, and last but not least, Camron and Luis (pictured on the right) pitched an idea for a small business full service marketing management company. After a campus store, the students were happy to sport their new college spirit wear!

Craft Show-

A month long of planning for the craft show really paid off for 99 @dventures. Coming in between the times of 7:00am-5:45pm, the students helped the rest of the vendors set up and helped with raffles, food, and gave their best hospitality. Having 30+ vendors selling a wide variety of products helped us gain a lot of profit, the funds rose to $1,800.

Kauffman's Chicken BBQ-

99 @dventures started off the year with a successful fundraiser selling Barbeque Chicken dinners for $8/piece. The team worked together, raising over $1,100. Customers were greeted with smiles and the students took turns working in shifts, starting at 1:00PM and ending at 7:00PM.
